MN Logistics’ DG warehouse expertise in Germany and the Netherlands

Do you want to export or import phones, laptops or electronic cars? At MN Logistics, we can help you ship those goods. But did you know they are considered dangerous goods when it comes to shipping and storage? That is because they can catch fire or explode if they are not handled properly. In this blog, we will explain why these products are classified as dangerous goods, how MN Logistics handles them safely, and what makes us the right logistics partner if you work with lithium batteries or any other dangerous goods.

Many modern electronic devices contain lithium batteries, which are classified as Class 9 dangerous goods under ADR regulations (For more details about all nine ADR categories, see our other blog post: “Ever wondered how many kinds of dangerous goods exist?”) Our company has the permits to store dangerous goods in all ADR categories (1–9), including lithium batteries (UN3480). Our warehouse solutions in the Netherlands and Germany are designed to store these types of products safely. They are equipped with fire-resistant zones, temperature monitoring, and emergency systems to reduce any risk. Our team also knows how to work with MSDS (material safety data sheets) and other required documentation. We check every shipment to make sure the goods are correctly labeled and packed before they are stored or transported.

We see a growing number of companies entering the sustainable energy market, offering products like batteries, heat pumps, and infrared heating panels. These goods often require specialized logistics. Storing and transporting these products safely and in compliance with European laws is essential. We combine certified dangerous goods storage, cross-border transport capabilities, and hands-on experience in handling products. In the next section, we will walk you through how MN Logistics manages the logistics process.

How we manage the logistics process

Our process begins with an intake procedure, which we collect all relevant product information and required documentation, including:

  • The latest MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet)
  • Product classification,
  • UN numbers.

Upon arrival, trained and certified staff conduct an incoming inspection to verify packaging integrity, labeling accuracy, and compliance with ADR regulations. Based on the product’s classification, we assign the cargo to the appropriate ADR zone, in full compliance with any specific temperature or ventilation requirements.

When transport is required, we coordinate with certified ADR carriers, ensuring documentation (including CMR/DGD) is in full order. Throughout the entire process, our team maintains proactive communication with you, providing full traceability, reporting and compliance transparency at every stage.

Whether you are a startup entering the European market or you want to scale your distribution, we offer solution that help you grow.
